Proceeds from all sales go to May!
Hi everyone, My name is Austin and I’m what some would called strange/eccentric(you’ll see why read on). Enough about me though, about six months ago something special happened to me. This young amazing pig came into my life, I named him May. I know this sounds strange but I believe fate brought me this pig, I mean what are the odds that an escaped meat pig finds his way to a vegan home? He’s already defied so many odds to make it here. Since he has been here he has drastically improved my life, I call him my emotional support/service hog. I struggle with depression and have most of my life, he has been the best anti-depressant I have ever found and absolutely no side effects. He brings such joy and purpose to my life that I cant quite articulate properly. Best I can do is give you a metaphor that everyone can relate to, imagine you got a puppy or kitten during this pandemic, spent more than an obsessive amout of time training and just getting to know and love said puppy or kitten. Now imagine six months in that pet injures itself and needed surgery or it has to be put down. Would you not do everything possible to hold on to your piece of happiness in this world? Think about that while I explain why I’m telling you all this. On Monday I got off from work and spent a lil time with him, went in around 7pm and took an unintended nap, woke up about 10pm and went out to tell him goodnight and tuck him in. My heart absolutely shattered when I found him unable to walk on hind legs in the yard, I immediately called the vet and made him comfortable. The vet arrived the following day, and believes he has injured his spine. I’ve called UGA Veterinary teaching hospital and got a quote for the imaging and surgery if needed. The imaging estimate is 1500 to 3000$ the surgery estimate 4000 to 7000$. Im begging, pleading with everyone to please help me reach this goal and fix my bestfriend, if you can find it in your heart ❤ to donate I will be eternally grateful and if not we accept shares, prayers and good energy as well. Thanks for your time and consideration. He has a fb page if you’d like to see what we’ve been up to for the past six months-https://www.facebook.com/Adventures-Of-the-Amazing-May-104842848153928/
